She had said “I got you the best birthday gift!” more than once long before my birthday. And oh yeah she knew I wasn’t buying anything because I said to her “You already bought me a gift? And you won’t tell mom what it is? You do realize that now I can’t buy anything because no one knows what you got me, right?” And she said she knew. It is her fault. And I have no clue why she lied to me because as soon as I started questioning her she went into bitch mode and was all, “Well I’ll just return your gift then!” And I was annoyed and left.

Today is my birthday and 3 months ago my little sister told me she already bought me a Snow White statue/figurine for my birthday and I’m going to love it. I have over 50 pieces in my collection, it’s a huge love of mine. For the past 3 months I haven’t bought a single Snow White figurine just so I wouldn’t accidentally buy what my sister already bought me. Today she hands me one Wonder Woman gift and I look at her and say, “That’s it?” And she replies, “Yes.” I reply back,”Where is the figurine you told me you already bought me I’ve avoiding buying many things to not hurt your feelings you don’t have it for me?!” She just says no. My mom says that I have no reason to be annoyed. I’m pretty sure annoyed is a justified response to someone lying to you for 3 months about a gift they never bought. Am I in the wrong to be annoyed?
